David Emmet, the author of the Kropotkin Thinks blog at http://www.motogpmatters.com, has posting a very interesting discussion about rule changes, traction control, spec ECU's and close racing in MotoGP. As always, he's a very insightful fellow and pointed out a couple of things that I hadn't really considered as clearly as I probably should have with regard to the not-very-close racing in MotoGP over the last couple of years. Now, I'm not one of the complainers, I'm still enjoying MotoGP. But then, I "came of age" in MotoGP during the years when Rossi was winning 10 races a season. As I've mentioned before though: nobody ever complained back then. I hope Stoner keeps his beatin' stick out and just beats 'em silly the rest of the season.
Anyway, head over to MotoGP Matters and check it out.
