Computer Burnout

I love computers but it seems like I'm spending all my time in front of them here lately. I've been working on a freelance side project using a Open Source content management system called Joomla! for the last few days, to the point where I feel like it's about all I've done. I'm not really complaining. It's interesting work and I'm being well compensated for my time. I'm just feeling a bit consumed and ready to get this phase finished so I can step away from it for a few days.

I might have mentioned this before but I've gotten re-addicted to Twitter over the last couple of weeks. I had TwitterBerry running on my BlackBerry 8820 for a few days until I noticed that I suddenly had absolutely atrocious batter life. I went suddenly from getting three or four days out of my BlackBerry with no problem at all to barely being able to make it through lunch without needing a recharge. I can't figure out how TwitterBerry was causing the problem but since that's the only thing that had changed I uninstalled it to see if the problem when away and it did. Oh well, maybe they'll get it sorted out. It's a very nice little program and I was enjoying it quite a bit.

It's time to get my nose back to the grindstone. Hopefully I'll be able to get some interesting motorcycle or tech posts up here shortly.
